JOSEPH WALKER's Fundraiser

Supporting programs and services for those with complex physical and developmental disabilities...
The power of family, teamwork and community...
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
In 2004 I ran the NYC Marathon to raise money and awareness for LADACIN Network (http://ladacin.org/). After 5 marathons I decided it was time for some help; we founded a running team. Combining my personal races and team running events we have given the agency over $500,00 to support the quality programs and services they provide. For over a decade I have been telling the story of LADACIN, specifically the story of my brother Conor.
My brother Conor turns 34 in April yet has the physical build of a adolescent and the mindset of a child age 4. Conor is at home full time with my parents except the six hour "school day" Conor spends at LADACIN. For 20 years my family has been the direct recipient of LADACIN Network's support and services, promoting Conor's individuality as a person and celebrating our uniqueness as a family.
On Sunday, April 29th, Team LADACIN will again participate in the events of the NJ Marathon weekend. I am personally running the half marathon in support of LADACIN Network. And on race day I'll be joined by dozens of teammates, including friends and family, but none more important than my mother Denise and my brother Conor. As a duo Denise and Conor will look to finish the 13.1 mile half marathon for the 7th time, both receiving finisher medals! (Conor above in jogger, Denise behind in white jacket)
In 2017 our team raised nearly $50,000 to benefit LADACIN Network. With your continued support our team promises to keep fighting the funding gap incurred as LADACIN accepts more students and clients into their programs. The agency currently supports over 3,500 families in Monmouth and Ocean Counties (NJ).
Thank you again, no amount is too small or too big!
Kindest Regards,
Joseph
