2022 marks my 18th year supporting LADACIN Network; 5 full and 12 half marathons. My personal efforts, combined with our running team and "Power of One" focus, has raised over $550,000 to date. A full 98% of this money goes directly into the underfunded programs and services of the agency for their adult clients; my brother Conor included.
Conor turned 38 in April yet has the physical build of an adolescent and the mindset of a child age 4. Conor is at home full time with my parents except his "school day" at LADACIN Network. For over 30 years my family has been the direct recipient of LADACIN Network's support and services, promoting Conor's individuality as a person and celebrating our uniqueness as a family.
*** On Friday, September 30th I will be completing a virtual half marathon, 13.1 miles, solo and undertrained !!!
I was able to raise over $15,000 in 2021 which was truly remarkable! With your continued support our "Power of One" effort (not just running anymore) promises to keep fighting the funding gap incurred as LADACIN Network accepts more students and clients into their programs.
